Anastasios I. Karanakis is a Geoinformatics and Surveying Engineer with extensive experience in topography, GIS, and geoinformatics applications. He holds a B.Sc. in Geoinformatics and Surveying Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Central Macedonia and an M.Sc. in Oil, Gas, and Hydrogen Management from the University of Western Macedonia. He is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Geography and Applied Geoinformatics at the University of the Aegean. Anastasios has worked on projects involving 3D ground modeling, slope stability monitoring, and volumetric measurements using drones. He is proficient in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS and has expertise in surveying-engraving with geodetic station and mapping-plotting with GNSS receivers.
